MESA, Ariz. (Oct. 12, 2018) --Hundreds of families – including many babies and kids dressed in Halloween costumes -- will reunite with the medical staff that helped their children during their first weeks of life from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Banner Desert Medical Center, 1400 S. Dobson Road in Mesa. This highly visual reunion will take place in the Saguaro Room.

This will bring together families whose tiny loved ones were treated in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Cardon Children’s Medical Center, located on the Banner Desert campus. Kids will be able to thank the medical team who helped save their lives. There will be a photo booth, bean bag toss, bowling and children’s crafts. The annual reunion is a special celebration for these families, as the NICU stay is an unexpected twist for families and can often be a very stressful time.

The NICU at Cardon Children’s is dedicated to nurturing the most critically ill babies and their families.

Directions and Parking: Banner Desert is located at 1400 S. Dobson Road, on the same medical campus as Cardon Children’s Medical Center. When turning into the campus from Dobson Road, take a left at the first stop sign. Follow the road around to the Labor and Delivery area, and a media team membercan meet you in that lobby.
